48:2-36.1. Requiring utility to submit data relevant to inquiry or investigation by board The board may by order in writing require any public utility to compile from its accounts, books, records, documents, and papers and submit to the board any data, material and relevant to any inquiry, investigation or proceeding undertaken by or pending before such board. The data which the board is hereby empowered to require to be compiled may relate and extend to services rendered, business done, transactions had, and property located, within or without this state where such data is material and relevant to the inquiry, investigation or proceeding so undertaken by, or pending before the board.
