48:16-18.1 Municipal licensing requirements for limousine service; fee. 6. Notwithstanding any other provisions of law to the contrary, a municipality may require a limousine service to obtain a corporate license, permit, certificate or other form of authority if the limousine service is providing service on an intra-municipal, point-to-point basis within that municipality. The municipality may charge a fee that shall not exceed a total of $50 for the issuance of that license, permit, certificate or other form of authority which shall apply to all limousines operated by the limousine service and providing intra- municipal, point-to-point service within that municipality.
