Operation of ferry as part of railroad system

48:12-21. Operation of ferry as part of railroad system Where the terminus of a railroad company is on the shore of a river or navigable water of this state, the company may establish and operate ferries for the transportation of persons and property on or across the same. The company may buy or build vessels and do all things necessary or convenient to carry on the ferry or may contract with other ferry companies for such transportation.
