Return of certificate at expiration of office or employment

48:12-114. Return of certificate at expiration of office or employment When the term of office or period of employment of any person mentioned in section 48:12-109 of this title expires, he shall return at once to the secretary of state the certificate issued to him. For failure so to do he shall be liable to a penalty of twenty-five dollars to be recovered in an action at law in the name of the state. The penalty when collected shall be paid into the state treasury.
