46:30B-76.2 Disclosure of confidential information. 46:30B-76.2. Disclosure of confidential information. Confidential information concerning any aspect of unclaimed property shall be disclosed only to an apparent owner or an administrator or official of another state for escheat or unclaimed or abandoned property, if that other state accords substantially reciprocal privileges to the administrator. Documents and working papers may be: used by the administrator in the course of an action to collect unclaimed property or otherwise enforce chapter 30B of Title 46 of the Revised Statutes; used in joint examinations conducted with or pursuant to an agreement with another state, the federal government, or any other governmental subdivision, agency, or instrumentality; produced pursuant to subpoena or court order; or disclosed to the abandoned property office of another state for that state's use in circumstances equivalent to those described in this section, if the state is bound to keep the documents and papers confidential.
