General powers of society

45:9-58. General powers of society The society shall have power to prescribe the duties of its officers and members, fix their compensation, assess from time to time an annuity upon the county, specialty, or other societies and adopt such rules and regulations for the management of the concerns of this and the several societies as may be deemed necessary, which rules and regulations shall not be contrary to the laws of this State, and it may hold any estate, real and personal.
