Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist assistant.

45:9-37.34b Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist assistant. 21. To be eligible for licensure as a physical therapist assistant, an applicant shall: a. Possess at least an Associate in Arts degree from an accredited college or university; b. Have completed a two-year physical therapist assistant program at an accredited college or university, which has been approved by the board; c. Have experience satisfactory to the board, in accordance with regulations of the board; d. Have successfully completed a written examination approved by the board; e. Be at least 18 years of age; f. Be of good moral character; and g. Meet such other requirements as may be established by the board by regulation. L.2003,c.18,s.21.
