45:9-37.105 Qualification of current practitioner as licensed perfusionist. 12. For 180 days after the date procedures are established by the board for applying for licensure under section 9 of this act, any person may qualify as a licensed perfusionist, upon application for licensure and payment of the appropriate fee, providing the applicant furnishes evidence satisfactory to the board that he has been operating cardiopulmonary bypass systems for cardiac surgical patients as his primary function in a health care facility for not less than five years preceding the enactment date of this act.
