45:8-48. Partial invalidity; construction of chapter The provisions of this chapter are severable, and if any of the provisions hereof are held unconstitutional the decision shall not be construed to impair any other provisions of this chapter. It is hereby declared as the legislative intent that this chapter would have been adopted had such unconstitutional provisions not been included herein. L.1938, c. 342, p. 870, s. 22.
