Licensed architects may be licensed as professional engineers; examination

45:8-35.1. Licensed architects may be licensed as professional engineers; examination Any architect who is duly licensed to practice architecture in this State, provided he has a college degree in a program or curriculum of four years or more, shall be entitled to be licensed to engage in the practice of professional engineering upon application therefor to the State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and upon satisfactorily passing that part of an examination limited solely to specialized training of engineers, and which is now designated as Part P thereof. Such applicant shall be examined, according to the limitation herein provided, at a regularly conducted examination for applicants for license as professional engineer.
