Continuance of proceedings dependent on law prior to effective date of law

45:6-65. Continuance of proceedings dependent on law prior to effective date of law All proceedings pending and undisposed of, and any new proceedings based upon any event or transaction occurring before the effective date of this act, shall be continued, or may be initiated and processed to completion and shall be governed, to the extent that it is fair and feasible to do so, in accordance with the law in force at the time of the occurrence of the event or transaction involved, notwithstanding the repeal by this act of any statute now in force.
