Initial licensure as manicurist.

45:5B-22 Initial licensure as manicurist. 22. An applicant seeking initial licensure as a manicurist shall: a. (Deleted by amendment, P.L.2009, c.162) b. Demonstrate successful completion of a course of instruction in manicuring, the curriculum for which shall be established by the board pursuant to regulation at: (1) a school of cosmetology and hairstyling licensed in this State; or (2) a public school approved by the State Board of Education to offer a vocational program in cosmetology and hairstyling, beauty culture or manicuring, or other cosmetology and hairstyling, beauty culture or manicuring program approved by the State Board of Education; or (3) a school of cosmetology and hairstyling, beauty culture or manicuring licensed in another state or foreign country which, in the opinion of the board, offers curricula which are substantially similar to that offered at licensed schools within this State; and c.
