45:2B-63 Violations, referral to authority; immunity of board members 22. Whenever, by reason of an investigation, the board shall have reason to believe that there has been a violation of the laws of this State, the board may refer the matter and any information pertaining to the matter to the Attorney General of this State or the appropriate civil or criminal law enforcement authority. Each member of the board shall have immunity from any civil or criminal liability on account of these referrals, unless a member has acted in bad faith or with malicious purpose. L.1997,c.259,s.22.
