45:16-2. Oath of office; vacancies; removals Each appointee shall, before assuming the duties of office, and within thirty days after the receipt of his commission, take, subscribe and file, in the office of the secretary of state, the oath or affirmation of office. Any vacancy in the membership of the board shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner provided for an original appointment. The governor may remove any member of the board for continued neglect of the duties required by this article, for incompetency or for unprofessional or dishonorable conduct.
