45:14-62 Collaborative drug therapy management. 23. a. Each collaborative drug therapy management shall be between a single patient's specific physician and the patient's pharmacist or pharmacy and address that patient's specific condition, disease or diseases. b. No collaborative drug therapy management shall include, without the prior consent of the patient and the patient's physician who has signed the protocol, therapeutic interchange at the time of dispensing, provided that written confirmation of this prior consent, which may be by electronic means, shall be obtained pursuant to record keeping guidelines to be established by regulation jointly promulgated by the board and the State Board of Medical Examiners.
