Expenses of board and its members

45:12-17. Expenses of board and its members The board may cause to be paid out of the registration fees, penalties, and other fees received by it, all proper expenses incurred by it under the provisions of this chapter, including the salary of its secretary-treasurer and compensation for clerical assistance, inspectors and agents, as shall be determined by the board from time to time, but in no case shall any such expenses be paid by or be a charge against the state. The members of the board shall be entitled to reimbursement for their traveling and hotel expenses, incurred in pursuance of their duties.
