"Public assistance trust fund account"

44:8-138. "Public assistance trust fund account" Every payment for State aid made pursuant to this act to a municipality shall be made to the treasurer of the municipality and shall be deposited by him in a "public assistance trust fund account" and shall be used only for payment on account of the cost of public assistance, exclusive of the cost of administration thereof, for the year for which such State aid is granted and any balance remaining in such "public assistance trust fund account" after all such payments have been made or provided for, shall be used for payment on account of the cost of public assistance in such municipality, exclusive of the cost of administration thereof, for the next succeeding year.
