44:7-27. Allotment of federal funds; payment Any funds received by the State from the Federal Government for administrative costs of old age assistance shall be ratably shared by the State division and the several county welfare boards in proportion to their respective annual approved expenditures for administration of old age assistance. The State shall pay to each county welfare board the allotment so determined and approved, at such times as the State division may by regulation prescribe. The State division shall certify to the Comptroller of the Treasury the amount to which each county is entitled, and the amount so certified shall be paid from the State treasury upon the audit and warrant of the Comptroller to the treasurers of the respective welfare boards. Amended by L.1938, c. 361, p. 914, s. 16, eff. July 1, 1938.
