Place of filing; effective date of lien

44:5-19.4. Place of filing; effective date of lien The lien shall be filed with the clerk or register of deeds and mortgages of the county, as the case may be, or with the Clerk of the Superior Court, and shall immediately attach to and become binding upon all real property in the ownership of the patient in the county, if it is filed in the county, or wherever situate in the State, if it is filed in the Superior Court, and it shall have the force and effect of a judgment at law.
