Temporary relief in suitable home

44:4-84. Temporary relief in suitable home If any such poor person is receiving shelter in some suitable home or habitation, and it is possible to maintain him as adequately and profitably therein as in an almshouse or welfare-house, temporary relief may be granted and furnished by the director of welfare subject to the approval of the welfare board having charge of the administration of relief by such director of welfare to such poor person in such home or habitation, otherwise, he shall be committed and removed to the proper welfare-house in the county.
