Submission of question to voters of county; notice

44:4-132. Submission of question to voters of county; notice Upon the adoption of the resolution by the board of chosen freeholders, the question of the adoption of the provisions of this chapter in the county shall thereupon be submitted to the legal voters of the county at the general election next following the adoption of the resolution, public notice of which shall be given by the board of chosen freeholders by publication, not less than thirty days prior to the election, in one or more newspapers published and circulated in the county, at least one of which is published in the county seat.
