Additional municipal appropriations

44:4-126. Additional municipal appropriations When any sum appropriated as provided in section 44:4-125 of this title has been expended or exhausted, during the year and for the purpose for which it was appropriated, the county welfare board shall notify the governing body of the municipality, which shall provide for the continuance of the relief of the temporary or outdoor poor residing in the municipality, for the balance of the calendar or fiscal year, by an additional appropriation for the purpose, to be made available to the order of the county welfare board of the county.
