44:4-109. Complaint by director of welfare When a director of welfare having jurisdiction in such cases believes that such desertion or willful refusal or neglect to so provide for any such wife, children or parents, or any of them, will cause the family to become chargeable as poor persons to any county, he shall make complaint before a court having jurisdiction in the county where the persons reside or in the place where the father, husband or child resides. Amended by L.1953, c. 42, p. 785, s. 29, eff. March 19, 1953.
