44:3-4. Representation of new township in management of almshouse When a new township is formed out of the territory of one or more townships owning or renting real estate used for almshouse purposes and maintaining an almshouse thereon, the new township shall be represented in the management of the almshouse, and shall have the same rights therein and be subject to the same liabilities as the township or townships out of which it was formed, and the trustee or other representative of the new township shall be admitted as a member of the board of trustees of the almshouse property with the powers, privileges and obligations of the other members of the board.
