Other methods of establishing almshouses

44:1-66. Other methods of establishing almshouses Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to interfere with or prevent a county from establishing or maintaining a county almshouse as heretofore, unless it has adopted the provisions contained in this chapter for the establishment of a welfare-house, or to prevent any municipality not having participated in the welfare-house plan and purpose from doing likewise.
