Constitution and appointment of welfare board

44:1-35. Constitution and appointment of welfare board When a county shall contract with another county, as provided in this chapter, for the permanent maintenance and relief of the poor in the welfare-house of such other county, a county welfare board may be thereupon constituted and appointed as provided in sections 44:1-10 to 44:1-15 of this title, to have charge and supervision of the relief and settlement of the poor in its jurisdiction, subject to the provisions of this chapter.
