County chargeable for permanent relief where settlement is therein

44:1-110. County chargeable for permanent relief where settlement is therein A person who has a settlement in a county but not in a municipality thereof shall be chargeable as to permanent relief to the entire county and be supported, maintained or relieved thereby, and the governing body of the county shall provide for the payment of the expense thereof as other county expenses are paid.
