43:21-12.6. Adjustments of compensation Adjustments of compensation after the allocation of positions under the new compensation plan resulting from the above classification survey shall be made as follows: The compensation of each employee then receiving a rate per year within the range prescribed for the class in which his position falls shall be increased to the next higher increment rate as funds shall be available; the compensation of each employee then receiving less than the minimum rate per year for the class in which his position falls shall be increased in rate per year to the minimum for the class as funds shall be available. Any employee found to be then receiving more than the maximum rate per year for the class in which his position falls shall be reduced to the maximum rate of such class. L.1948, c. 68, p. 416, s. 2.
