Reclassified members

43:16A-1.1. Reclassified members Any member of the Police and Firemen's Retirement System of New Jersey who holds one of the titles set forth in section 1 of P.L. 1944, c. 255 (C. 43:16A-1) and who is reclassified to another of the titles set forth in that section, shall continue his membership with the same rights and benefits and subject to the same conditions as any other member who holds the title into which he has been reclassified. L. 1985, c. 29, s. 2, eff. Feb. 1, 1985.
