Effect upon political subdivisions previously under State Employees' Retirement System

43:15A-62. Effect upon political subdivisions previously under State Employees' Retirement System Where any county, municipality or public agency of the State has previously been covered by the former "State Employees' Retirement System," such county, municipality or public agency shall be covered under the provisions of this act and the employees of such county, municipality or public agency shall have the same rights and obligations with regard to becoming members of the Public Employees' Retirement System as they had with regard to the former "State Employees' Retirement System."
