43:13-22.8. Employees The first secretary and treasurer appointed shall be bona fide civil service employees and members of 1 of the 3 funds consolidated by the provisions of this act. Their successors and any other employee necessary to carry out the provisions of this act shall be employed in accordance with Title 11 of the Revised Statutes (Civil Service Law); all of whom shall be construed as city employees for any purpose whatsoever and eligible within the fund.
