Time between removal and reinstatement of policemen allowed in certain cases

43:11-2. Time between removal and reinstatement of policemen allowed in certain cases When a member of the police department in any municipality has been removed from employment therein without charges being preferred against him, or has been removed from employment by reason of the disbanding of a police department, and has subsequently been reinstated, the time elapsed between such removal and reinstatement shall be computed as time in actual service in determining his right to retirement from service in the department.
