Employment by two counties

43:10-9. Employment by two counties This article shall affect and include county employees, as herein described, jointly employed by two or more counties, on intercounty bridges. Each such employee's contribution of 3% of his salary shall be made in full to the county employees' pension fund of the county from which he was appointed, and the board of chosen freeholders of that county shall contribute on the total of his salary to the fund as herein provided. The employee and his dependents as herein described shall receive the benefits of this article from the county pension fund in the same manner as if he were employed exclusively by the county. Amended by L.1973, c. 345, s. 6, eff. Dec. 27, 1973.
