"Be retired upon one-half pay" defined

43:10-47. "Be retired upon one-half pay" defined The words "be retired upon one-half pay" , as used in this article, shall be construed to mean, retired upon a pension equal to one-half of the annual salary of the county probation officer at the time of his retirement.
