Employees age 70; immediate retirement; year-to-year extension of employment

43:10-18.6b. Employees age 70; immediate retirement; year-to-year extension of employment Any employee who is a member of the retirement system, and who shall have attained the age of 70 years, shall be retired immediately, except that the chief executive officer of the county may, upon written request of the employee, permit an employee to continue employment with the county beyond the age of 70 years, on a year-to-year basis.
