40A:65-29 Construction of law on consolidation appeals. 29. The provisions of sections 1 to 37 of P.L.2007, c.63 (C.40A:65-1 et al.) shall be liberally construed to effectuate the intention of sections 25 through 28 of P.L.2007, c.63 (C.40A:65-25 through C.40A:65-28). The board is empowered to act to provide guidance, interpretation, and to resolve disputes regarding these sections or the "Municipal Consolidation Act," P.L.1977, c.435 (C.40:43-66.35 et al.). Decisions of the board may be appealed directly to the Appellate Division of the Superior Court. L.2007, c.63, s.29.
