Notice of holding special election; contents

40A:16-18. Notice of holding special election; contents The municipal clerk upon the fixing of a date for the holding of a special election shall immediately cause to be published in a legal newspaper circulating within the municipality a notice setting forth the date of the special election, its purpose, and the date when the nomination of candidates for election shall be filed in the clerk's office.
