Office or position held by an exempt fireman not to be abolished or changed or emoluments reduced to terminate services

40A:14-63. Office or position held by an exempt fireman not to be abolished or changed or emoluments reduced to terminate services No department of the State government nor any board of chosen freeholders of a county, or governing body of a municipality, or a school board or board of education shall abolish, change the title or reduce the emoluments of any office or position held by an exempt fireman for the purpose of terminating his service.
