Municipality may contribute money for general purposes of incorporated volunteer fire department

40A:14-33. Municipality may contribute money for general purposes of incorporated volunteer fire department In any municipality where there is an incorporated volunteer fire department which is limited to raising in any one year for the purposes of the department a definite sum, the governing body of said municipality may contribute to such volunteer fire department such sums of money as they shall deem necessary, subject to the limitations of section 40A:14-34. L.1971, c. 197, s. 1, eff. July 1, 1971.
