Group life insurance

40A:10-33. Group life insurance The governing body of a municipality may appropriate moneys to defray the cost of group life insurance contracts and pay the premiums thereon for auxiliary police volunteers authorized to render public service generally throughout the municipality. A municipality shall not undertake the cost of any contract of group life insurance contract where the amount payable upon the death of each assured exceeds the amount of $10,000.00.
