40:76-6. Defective petitions; clerk to notify agent If he shall determine that the petition does not conform to the requirements of this chapter, then within ten days from the date of the filing of the petition with him the clerk shall personally serve in writing, upon the person designated in the petition as agent of the petitioners, his objections, setting forth in detail wherein the petition is deficient.
