Conduct of election; results certified to clerk

40:71-4. Conduct of election; results certified to clerk The election shall be held at the usual places of holding the annual election in the municipality. The polls shall remain open during the usual hours, and the election shall be conducted by the election officers, and in the manner provided by the law regulating elections, and such officers shall deliver to the municipal clerk a true and correct statement in writing under their hands of the result of the election.
