40:69A-67.1. Municipality with Mayor-Council Plan D; housing counsellor; duties The governing body of any municipality having a population in excess of 60,000 persons, in which, prior to the effective date of P.L.1981, c. 465 (C. 40:69A-12 et al.) the voters adopted the form of government designated as "Mayor-Council Plan D," formerly provided for in Article 6 of the "Optional Municipal Charter Law," P.L.1950, c. 210 (C. 40:69A-1 et seq.) may by ordinance create the position of housing counsellor to counsel new and prospective home owners concerning purchase and maintenance costs of housing within the municipality, and may prescribe such additional duties as are appropriate to the position. L.1982, c. 47, s. 1, eff. June 29, 1982.
