Vacancies; special election; term

40:68-30. Vacancies; special election; term Whenever a vacancy occurs, a special election shall be held within the district to fill such vacancy. Any person so elected shall serve for the unexpired term and until a successor is elected. L.1967, c. 184, s. 4, eff. July 27, 1967.
