40:67-20. Abandonment of plans to open or widen streets; disposition of lands Whenever any municipality shall have received, or may hereafter receive, by deed or otherwise, land for the widening of any public street, and thereafter abandons such widening, the municipality may convey the land not needed to the owner or owners of the abutting lands.
