Notice to owners of lands affected; publication

40:62-97. Notice to owners of lands affected; publication Public notice of the intended creation and establishment of such proposed water district or districts, and the installation, construction, operation and maintenance of such water systems, and the method of supplying water for such district or districts, shall be given to the owners whose real estate may be affected thereby. The notice shall state the place where and the time when the governing body will consider the ordinance, and shall briefly describe the proposed boundaries and the improvements intended to be made in such district or districts. The notice shall be published once in a newspaper circulating in the municipality at least fifteen days, and be mailed to the known owners of all real estate affected at their last known post-office address at least ten days, before the date so fixed.
