Contracts for operation of public transportation service

40:62-46.2. Contracts for operation of public transportation service Any such city of the second class in any county of the second class may provide transportation service and operate a transportation system itself or it may enter into 1 or more contracts with any private or public group for the operation, in whole or in part, of the same, for and on behalf of the municipality, according to such requirements and restrictions as shall be established by the municipality.
