40:62-147. Supplying water to dwellers along line; rates; consent required The commission may supply with water, dwellers in municipalities, other than those represented by the commission, through which its mains may pass, and for that purpose may lay mains and pipes in or under any street, road, avenue, alley or public place in such other municipality. Such water shall be supplied to dwellers in other municipalities upon the same or as favorable terms and conditions as water shall be furnished to other similar customers of the commission. The consent of the municipal authorities of such other municipality to the supplying of its dwellers with water shall be first obtained.
