N.J.S.A. 40:62-107.2 — Application to state auditor

40:62-107.2. Application to state auditor In each case, where a municipality is desirous of distributing the deficit as described in section 40:62-107.1 of this title, application for permission so to do shall be made by the governing body of such municipality to the state auditor. If the application shall be approved, the state auditor shall indorse thereon the word "approved" and append his signature thereto and return the same to the governing body of the municipality so applying. If the state auditor shall disapprove of the same, he shall indorse on the application the word "disapproved" and shall sign his name thereto and return the same to the governing body of the municipality, and each application shall be disposed of by the state auditor within ten days from the date of the receipt thereof by him.
