Disposition of property; repairs and maintenance

40:60-25.13. Disposition of property; repairs and maintenance The governing body of such municipality may apply to public use so much of the property acquired by it hereunder as may be needed for public use, and shall sell and dispose of the property not needed for public use as soon as practicable in the manner or mode of procedure provided by law for the sale of property not needed for public use. Pending such sale and disposition, the municipality may lease, repair and maintain any part of said property in such manner as may be necessary for its preservation.
